Of all the Estates, farms and manor houses owned by Cecil John Rhodes at the height of his power, Nooitgedacht was the one he selected as his own private residence. And when you visit the Estate, it’s easy to understand why.

On the day of your wedding, you and your party will have exclusive use of the estate – including the grandiose bridal suite in the manor house, and three meticulously decorated and serviced guest suites situated in the farm’s historic slave quarters (if required). And you certainly won’t have to fit into anyone else’s schedules, plans, menus or spaces.

Our catering and service staff will obviously be on hand to fulfil your every need and request. But aside from their discreet presence, you’ll have the peace, the privacy, and the setting to prepare for your special day however you choose. You are invited to walk around the working farm, swim in our private pool, play tennis, pamper yourself, write your speech, do some yoga, catch up with distant family and friends, or party till the early hours of the morning..

There are a number of options available with the royal bridal suite – including drinks, meals, and an overnight stay for the bridal couple.
